This catalogue is produced on the occasion of the exhibition 'Now, Oyamazaki...' held at Asahi Beer Oyamazaki Villa Musuem of Art from December 2008 to March 2009. In the exhibition Japanese artist Akira Yamaguchi exhibits new works of art inspired from the history of Oyamazaki. There was the Battle in Yamazaki between Hideyoshi Hashiba and Mistsuhide Akechi in 1582 and Yamaguchi portrays both of the samurai warriors in his paintings.
