This is a collective recipe book by 6 mini majelis 6 of documenta fifteen. 

Majelis is a term for a gathering or meeting within the lumbung network to exchange ideas and projects. Mini majelis are smaller gatherings or lumbung artists that have been clustered based on shared interests and time zones. 

As of mini majelis 6, we are a group of artists, writers, researchers, curators and designers from Guangzhou. Taiwan, Bombay and Cambodia. We have designed several collective projects with common pot budget, and this publication is one of them. As all of us are based in areas of Asia with strong traditions in food culture, we thought it would be nice to gather various recipes from our hometowns and share them with you. 

In this recipe book, you will find ingredients that are as plain as rice, as wild as snails, as spicy as green chilis, and as sweet as ice creams. Moreover, you will read personal stories connected with food and local culture that may touch your heart. 

The recipes are authentic and the stories are real. We hope you will enjoy what we have tasted both in stomachs and in life.
