Video recording of a talk given by Koh Nguang How at Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre, Hong Kong on 27 October 2010.
Koh is an artist and independent researcher on Singapore art. His approach towards research is not 'academic in nature' but is based on his years of museum work and artistic practice encompassing photography, collage, assemblage, installation, performance art and documentation. His collection of materials on art and culture enabled him to initiate the Singapore Art Archive Project. In the talk he shares images of a wide range of performance art events in Singapore which he has been documenting since 1987, including the activities of contemporary art group the Artists Village.
