This publication is produced in conjunction with 'Run Artist Run', a project initiated by Asialink at the University of Melbourne to acknowledge Australia's rich and varied history of establishing, supporting and reinventing artist-run spaces (ARIs). Three Australian-based ARIs, Conical (Melbourne), 1/2 dozen (Sydney), and West Space (Melbourne) were each invited to develop a project in association with a complementary Asian-based ARI. The participating ARIs from Asia inlcude Ryllega (Hanoi), a little blah blah (Ho Chi Minh City), p-10 (Singapore), and Plastique Kinetic Worms (Singapore). The series of exhibitions and events organised as part of Asialink's initiative took place in Vietnam and Singapore from June to October 2007.
