This exhibition explores the forms, disappearances, and weights of relationships, delving into the traces they leave behind. Everything we encounter in life, be it objects, people, or nature, forms connections that become a part of our existence, leaving imprints or fading away. Throughout our lives, we inevitably undergo numerous processes like these. The traces of relationships can contribute to enriching and solidifying our lives, creating a subtle yet robust stratum of existence that is explored in this exhibition.
Mo Yujin reflects on encounters and fleeting connections, examining relationships. While this may be considered a personal narrative, we constantly experience meetings and partings in our lives. Through visualizing changes in relationships— their forms, weights, and disappearances— Mo Yujin traces and records the transformations by comparing images stored in memory with the present situation.
