Catalogue of solo exhibition by Min Byunghun at CAIS Gallery in 2006. As suggested by Oh Kwang-Soo, landscapes can generally be determined in relation to distance, but in the artist's most recent Snow Land series, this distance is endlessly being erased. Everything existing on the border of what is and what isn't, are endlessly erased away, and then endlessly revived. Oh wrote,'Min's photographs are closer to painting than photography, and closer to poetry than painting. They are rather paintings of silence than photographs of silence, and rather poetry of silence than painting of silence.' Artist biographies are provided in the catalgoue.
