The Introduction of Taiwan Contemporary Art Vol.7: Shun-Chu CHEN ‘Conference- Family Parade’
1 / 2
Shun-Chu CHEN deals with matters of human life, especially memories of family. ‘The Fukuoka Apartment Project’, organised by the Executive Committee of the first Fukuoka Asian Art Triennale and supported by the MOMA Contemporary in 1999, was a short-lived but large-scaled crystalisation of his previous works. His solo show was the seventh in the introductory series of Taiwanese art at the gallery. This leaflet includes an artist statement, an article by Lichuan SUN, statement by the gallery and the artist on ‘The Fukuoka Apartment Project’, provided in both Japanese and English, and an English biography of the artist.
