This publication is produced in occasion of Hong Kong artist Tim Yip's solo exhibition at Three Shadows Photography Art Centre, Beijing, from June to September 2012.
Centring around the fictive character invented by Yip, Lili, the exhibition showcases photographs of the manikin placed in different settings. The act of siting/setting Lili performed by Yip imposes an idea of psychic total control towards an entity (a Freudian notion): she becomes whatever we want her to be. This notion of desire to control becomes the focus of Yip's photographs in this exhibition.

Includes a curatorial essay and an artist's biography.
