This catalogue presents the works of 10 artists who took part in the 2009 Art Omi Residency Program. Based in New York, Art Omi is an international residency program established in 1992 that supports visual artist, writers and musicians. The International Artists Colony is the residency program for visual artists, and this program is given corporate support through the Paradise Culture Foundation. The April 2009 'Up-and-Comers' exhibition was held at the Total Museum of Contemporary Art in Seoul and included eight finalists of the Art Omi residency program as well as two participating artists. Brief artist biographies are provided in this catalogue.
