Catalogue of Suwan Methapisit's solo exhibition at Bangkok University Art Gallery in 1998. For this exhibition, the artist has created a collection of art under the title 'My World My Names ©' that explores the power and importance of names. Chaiyosh Isavorapant wrote, 'An artist's name serves to bridge the appearance of a work itself and the way people perceive its form... By using his literal name in the pieces, Suwan seems to be asking us a question of whether his actual name is universal or not. As a result, the border between art and the artist's name is blurred. Thus it is no longer the signature under the picture that confirms Suwan's works, but the artist also becomes a part of the painting.' Artist biography is provided in the catalogue.
