Catalogue of joint exhibition held at The Contemporary Museum, Honolulu in 2006. Through this exhibition, guest-curator Koan Jeff Baysa has inverted the customary designation that places ethnicity before nationality, and underscored the deeply rooted American and Filipino identity in the current generation of young artists. These artists have witnessed the global dominance of American popular culture during their lifetimes, and are part of its present stages of deconstruction and change.
