First launched in the Art Basel of 2000, the 2005 Art Unlimited showcased works of 72 artists from 27 countries (Asian artists are listed in below). A mixture of recognised and little-known artists participated in this exhibition in which artworks are displayed freely in the venue, unlike that of a conventional art fair where works are usually grouped under galleries or themes or countries.
