This is a large-scale exhibition of works by 40 Singaporean artists, chosen by curator, Suhaimi bin Sukiyar, who grouped them into four sections: Art Education; The Quest Abroad; The Homeground; and Artists Within Art Societies. Organised and held at the Ng Eng Teng Gallery at the National University of Singapore, the chosen participants are contemporaries of Ng Eng Teng, most of whom studied at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Singapore. Accompanying essays offer a critical and historical perspective to the works.
