This catalogue is produced for the exhibition 'DOMANI: The Art of Tomorrow 2009', held by the Agency for Cultural Affairs to present the works of young artists who are dispatched abroad, and is held every year since 1998. This year, being the 12th year, is larger in scale than the previous year and is moved to the National Art Center, Tokyo. 12 artists working in different genres are selected for the exhibition.

「DOMANI・明日展」は、文化庁の在外研修制度（新進芸術家海外研修制度）により、海外派遣された若手芸術家の成果発表の場として1998年より毎年開催され、今年で12回を数えることになりました。昨年より、会場を国立新美術館に移したことで、スケールアップした2 回目の本展は、美術部門の様々なジャンルより12名の実力作家を選出し、現代日本の美術の一断面を切り取って紹介するものです。 会期：2009年12月12日（土）～2010年1月24日（日）
