Excerpt from Inward Gazes: Documentaries of Chinese Performance Art 2012, The Macao Museum of Art, Macau S.A.R., 2012, p. 72: 'This work attempts to question us on how rules that we take for granted can be established in society. When confronted with a new rule, what kinds of experiences and habits enable us to adopt certain actions? At the entrance where people must pass by, I use a long earring to connect my ear hole to the wall in order to establish a rule relating to the entrance in a soft manner.'
