The 'Hong Kong Eye' exhibition represents the latest project of the 'Eye' initiative, after the projects 'Indonesian Eye' in 2011 and 'Korean Eye' in 2012. 18 Hong Kong artists — including Amy Cheung, Chow Chun Fai, Silas Fong, Ho Sin Tung, Kong Chun Hei, Kum Chi Keung, Lam Tung Pang, Leung Kui Ting, Otto Li, Lui Chun Kwong, Florian Ma, Joao Vasco Paiva, Hector Rodriguez, Angela Su, Annie Wan, Adrian Wong, Justin Wong Chiu Tat and Fiona Wong Lai Ching — are chosen to exhibit at London's Saatchi Gallery and Hong Kong's Artistree.

This catalogue which is published to accompany the touring exhibition offers an overview of the contemporary art scene in Hong Kong through a diverse range of artworks by 66 Hong Kong-based artists. Also featured are Hong Kong's acclaimed pioneers of modern and contemporary art, such as Luis Chan, Lu Shoukun, Douglas Bland, Liu Kuo Sung, Tsang Tsou Choi and Tseng Kwong Chi. Includes five essays by Johnson Chang Tsong Zung, Christina Chu, Anthony Leung Po Shan, Lau Kin Wah and Kurt Chan Yuk Keung. With biographies of artists and contributors.
