'Memories of King Kowloon' was held in memory of local icon Tsang Tsou-choi (1921-2007), one of the premier graffiti artists of Hong Kong whose perseverance has triggered public discussions on art, urban space and local culture. The exhibition assembles around 300 original calligraphic inscriptions by Tsang, including works on paper, objects and cross-media creations, along with photographic documentation of Tsang's work by Wong Kan Tai, Ducky Tse, So Hing Keung, Stanley Wong and more, comprising the biggest collection to date. Also featured are tribute works by 11 overseas and local artists, including Gaston Caba, Danc Cheung, Birdy Chu, Joel Chung, Kensa Hung, Thomas Lin, Lo Sing Chin, Zoey Suen, Man Tsang, Kathy Wong and Clement Yeung.
The accompanying catalogue introduces various exhibition zones and features Viravong's comics which tells the story of 'King of Kowloon.' Includes artist chronology.
