According to the editor's note, the 'catalogue is a retrospective of over a decade of rigorous work. It maps an intellectual and emotional journey through successive stages in the artist's career: from a poet of light to a cartographer of contexts, an explorer of expanded media, and a listener responding to cacophonies with whispers. It is also a journal of care— for real lives beyond the white cube, for issues in the world at large, for conflicts at home and for what is fundamentally human.' The publication includes documentation seventeen artworks by Ng, three essays by Alain Fleischer, Charles Merewether, and Valerie C. Doran, a condensed biography of the artist, and list of exhibitions he had participated in.
