This publication accompanies the exhibition entitled 'Quiet Quest: Realism to Abstraction' which was held at Onemoon, Beijing, from November 2008 to March 2009. Work of 18 Chinese contemporary abstract painters, showing their transition from figurative to non-figurative paintings, was presented in the exhibition. The present publication comprises 18 catalogues of various sizes, each representing an artist, and a separate curator's statement. They are packaged together inside a box. Artist interview or artist statement, plates of work, as well as artist biography are included in each catalogue.
