Carol Archer is a Hong Kong based Australian artist while Christopher Kelen teaches Comparative Literature and Creative Writing at the University of Macau. This was their first collaborative art/text project and was exhibited at the Montblanc Gallery in Hong Kong in June 2000. ‘The project presents a range of representational interactions which engage the mountain and all who see or fail to see it. The mountain, as arbitrarily declared entity, becomes an inter-cultural focus for thought about the relationship between nature and human agency’. Brief introduction of the artist and the writer is included.
