'In this exhibition, eight artists (from seven countries) explore various possibilities in inter-media technology (interconnected through computerization and highly conscious of our "Information Age"), or long evoloved moving-image technologies (film and video, with their now richly layered histories), to offer insights into ways in which we live in and deal with the world today'. - Leon Paroissien, Director of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Taipei. Besides Asian artists, participants from other countries include the following: Dorothy Cross (Ireland), William Kentridge (South Africa), Rachel Lowe (United Kingdom), Len Lye (New Zealand), Joao Penalva (Portugal) and Patricia Piccinini (Sierra Leone).
