This monograph was published on the occasion of Lu Hao's solo exhibition at Goedhuis Contemporary, New York. This exhibition, the artist's first in America, showcased the model of one of his most notorious sculptural works - 'Marble Boat' anchored in Kunming Lake at the Summer Palace. The satire inherent in this sculpture was a reference to the destruction of the original Summer Palace by the Europeans in 1862. The exhibition also featured a series of charcoal drawings and oil paintings related to his sculptures and installations.

With introduction by Michael Goedhuis and artist biography.
