Irene Chou is hailed as one of the most innovative artists of New Ink Painting in Hong Kong. The impetus she has taken from the writings of the Southern Song Neo-Confucian philosopher Lu Jiuyuan (1139-1192), which reads, 'The Universe is my mind; my mind is the Universe', has guided and influenced her latest artistic development. The paintings and cosmic imageries shown in the present catalogue are Chou’s explorations of the boundlessness of the universe. Artist biography is included.
周綠雲被譽為香港最具創意的「新水墨」畫家之一。南宋新儒家的代表人物陸九淵 (1139-1192) 有「宇宙便是吾心，吾心便是宇宙」之說，此話成了她的創作宗旨及近年來的創作指標，對其藝術風格的影響至為深遠。本圖錄的畫作和關於宇宙的意像，皆體現了畫家對浩瀚宇宙所作的心靈探索。本書亦載有周綠雲的簡歷。
