Catalogue published on the occasion of the International Incheon Women Artists’ Biennale held at the Incheon Culture & Arts Center in 2007. The biennale features works by more than 400 leading artists from around the world and is dedicated to showing the social structures that frame women's lives. With the theme Knocking the Door, the main exhibition features three independent chambers for artists to express the lives of women according to the sub-themes, Experience, Myth and Found Out. The special exhibition comprises three parts, Pink, Cyborg, and Imperfect Structure. Pink focuses on women as a subject of desire for materiality, Cyborg deals with a post-gender investigation into political and social trends, and Imperfect Structure shows various experimental inclinations of upcoming artists.

Artist biographies are provided in the present catalogue.
