This publication commemorates the 30th anniversary of ARKO's founding. In 1979, Arko Art Center was conceived as an institution supporting emerging artists and contemporary arts and a museum was built on the former site of Seoul National University. It now also operates Insa Art Space. Arko Art Center also developed educational programs through the Arko Academy, houses the Arko Archive, and launched IASmedia to build an archive centered on single-channel video works.
