Taiwanese artist Li Shih-chiao devoted his life in 'an outpouring of fervor for painting, persistently walking the solitary path of art, seeking out the fundamental nature of painting.' - Huang Tsai-Lang. The present exhibition centers on Li's lifetime of creation, with more than 100 paintings including portraits rendered in his early career and experimental works from the 50s through the 70s. Chronology of the artist is provided in this catalogue.
