Established in 2002, Project 226 is a Hong Kong art group made up of local curators, artists, art administrators, multi-media professionals, and art educators. According to its website, Project 226 aims to 'seek ways to challenge complacency and fixed beliefs in order to push the boundaries of conventional practices in society and the contemporary art scene' and have, as a result, curated over twenty exhibitions. They have been inactive since 2010.
