Established in 2011, The Coming Society is a bookstore and art space in Sheung Wan. They moved to Wanchai in September 2013. They sell second-hand English and Chinese books about literature, arts, philosophy, social science and history and also organise various events such as talks, book launches, movie screenings and mini-concerts. According to its website, The Coming Society aims to bring people and perspectives together in order to 'imagine the world differently.'
