Founded in 2009 by a group of Hong Kong artists, curators, critics, researchers and educators, Woofer Ten was a non-profit art organisation based at Shanghai Street Artspace until 2015. According to their website, Woofer Ten aimed to 'introduce a lively conception of contemporary art engaging the community' by offering an alternative art space that acts more like a community centre and a platform than an art gallery. Their programmes included exhibitions, performances, guided tours, workshops, talks and screenings. Woofer Ten closed in 2015.
