Slim catalogue published to accompany the exhibition 'Seeing One's Own Eyes' by the artists' collective MadeIn at Ikon Gallery, Birmingham from 26 May–11 July 2010. MadeIn was established in early 2009 in Shanghai with the aim of stimulating the creation, support and dissemination of contemporary art. Its founder is the Chinese conceptual artist Xu Zhen. Referring to a verse in the Koran in the show's title, MadeIn is encouraging a clearer view of current affairs in the Middle East, through a combination of works that masquerades as a group exhibition by artists from that region.

With text by Jonathan Watkins and interview by Huang Du, originally conducted for the magazine METROPOLIS M.
