Together with Xu Beihong and Lin Fengmian, Pang Hiunkin belonged to the first group of Chinese artists who went abroad to study in France in the 1920s. He later became one of core members of the Storm Society and founded the Central Academy of Arts and Design. The present monograph includes writings by the artist and his chronology.
