The contents of this CD-ROM pertain to the exhibition 'Science Fictions' held at Earl Lu Gallery, LASALLE-SIA College of the Arts. Curated by Earl Lu Gallery Director Binghui Huangfu and Manila-based independent curator and critic Marian Pastor-Roces, 'Science Fictions' presents 17 artists of international acclaim from 10 countries across the globe who are variously (and often provocatively) asking the question: what makes the truth true? Through a rich variety of artistic approaches and creative styles, the artists investigate the truth behind perceived knowledge.
Participating artists include Susan Hiller (US/UK), Guan Wei (China/Australia), Vivan Sundaram (India), Bureau d'Études (France), Erika Tan (Singapore/UK), Wang Du (France) and Nicola Constantino (Argentina).
This disc includes: introduction to the exhibition, press release, images, Powerpoint presentation, and curator's notes on artworks.
