A brief review of the Second Guangzhou Triennial that took place in the the Guangdong Museum of Art from November 18, 2005 to January 15, 2006.  Curated by Hou Hanru, Hans Ulrich Obrist and Guo Xiaoyan, the triennial, entitled, BEYOND:  an extraoridinary space of experimentation for modernization  focused on the Pearl River Delata region.   Artists dealt with the themes of suffocating urbanization.  The reviewer felt that Hong Kong's Map Office produced the triennial's most memorable work.
