Catalogue of Yuyu Yang Memorial Exhibition held at Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts in 2006. Yuyu Yang is internationally renowned for his landscape sculpture. In addition to combining Eastern and Western aesthetics, Yang's art preserved and further developed the quintessence of Chinese culture. He created art with the spirit of projecting himself into history, making himself a distinguished advocate and driving force in the development of modern art in Taiwan. Featured in the exhibition is a comprehensive body of work representative of each period of Yang's career. The present catalogue includes texts by Hsiao Chongray and Lai Lingju, and chronology of the artist.
