Valentine Willie, founder of Valentine Willie Fine Art, offers an overview of the exciting trends in contemporary art and the growth of the art market in South East Asia over the past decade.

After 18 years as a lawyer, Malaysian-born, Valentine Willie founded Valentine Willie Fine Art in 1996. Over the past eight years, Valentine Willie has curated numerous local and international exhibitions for some of Southeast Asia’s most important contemporary Asian artists. Willie will offer an overview of the exciting trends in contemporary art and the growth of the art market in South East Asia over the past decade.

The session will be hosted by John Batten, Director of John Batten Gallery, one of Hong Kong’s leading galleries for contemporary Asian and Pacific art.
