'Banner is the most common way to send your message to people, either political or commercial. The original text was from a note of a shopping-centre in Milan, Italy. How will it be if translating it and bring it into a Chinese context? What makes me interested in is, when translated in Chinese through the automatic fast translation software, and again used the same way translated back to English, like many of the pirate DVD, or most of the dual languages information in China today. By its own right, the two different languages started a kind of communication without human interference…Though its misplacement, somehow the real meaning emerges from nowhere, both politically or commercially.' (artist statement)

「標語是傳播政治和商業信息的最常見形式。原文是意大利米蘭一家商場的通告。如果把它翻譯後放到國內的語境會是什麼樣?有趣的是,像我們日常生活常見的很多用金山快譯軟件翻譯出來的雙語信息或盜版DVD,最後變成一種將人類排除在外的語言本身的對話。 。 。儘管錯位,卻顯示了某種政治和商業的真正企圖。」(藝術家作品自述)
