Artist statement for SUNNY: 

'Project Introduction:

 Sunny, one of my friends, always acts weirdly. I call this Sunny Phenomenon. And this phenomenon can be widely seen nowadays. For example, due to heavy working pressure, people are forced to participate in parties. Having lived in Guangzhou for so long, I frequently see someone do odd behaviors in bus or underground. This ambiguous act seems to be strong signal transmitted to people.'

'Specific implementation:

I want to build up a space like a tunnel. People can go inside. But the tunnel is very narrow. It is two meters wide. When people come to the middle of the tunnel, Video Images Projecting through a translucent panel, and image is so big, so the audience just see some part of the video.'

作品〈SUNNY〉藝術家自述：

「作品簡介:
我認識Sunny，他的行為舉止異常怪異。我把這種現象稱為Sunny現象。這些現象在中國目前是很多成年人的通病。因為工作壓力太大，他們不得不參加一些派對。我一直生活在大城市，當我乘坐地鐵或巴士的時候，我常常發現有人對身邊的人做出這些動作。這種隱晦的動作給當今人類發出強烈的信號。」

「展覽方式:
建一個狹長的密封走廊，兩頭留出入口。走廊2米寬，10米長。觀眾可以穿越這個走廊.在走廊的中間部位有一個磨砂半透明的PVC板，2米寬，投影機把錄像Sunny從後部投入。觀眾可以在走廊空間內觀看錄像。」

「需要媒材:
投影機，DVD放映機，音箱，木條，甲板，油漆，磨砂半透明的PVC板。」
