This book offers the readers an overview of the group exhibition 'Don't Touch the White Woman,' which brings together 19 female artists coming from several nations to Turin, Italy with work of painting, video, installation and photography. From September 2004 to January 2005, Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo becomes a creative and cultural platform for discussion and reflections on issues of freedom, gender and social transformation in contemporary history. Includes curatorial statement and full-colour artwork plates.
