Artist statement for Blue:

'Depictions of images from World War II that reflected the emotional trauma felt in response to the June 4th massacre. The historical image of a Chinese student standing in front of a tank is replaced by a dancer, performing against the backdrop of a super-8 projection. A train passes by, leaving behind no trace except for the fireworks on the ground.'
