Live Body Sculpture

'Live body sculpture' by Frog King with plastic bags and iron rack. The work is a product from an experiment around the concept of 'body as sculpture' the artist conducted with his students in St. Johannes Studio, Hong Kong Polytechnic, Hong Kong S.A.R., China, 1978.

'Live body sculpture' is one of the key concepts that resides in Frog King's artistic trajectory; he considers any art form that works with human body a 'total dimensional' work. The idea of 'live body sculpture', which began in the early 70s, gradually matured and developed into the 'Body Installation ongoing project' starting from the 80s.
