Article on Joy Dayrit's Print Gallery's first anniversary exhibition titled ''Words and Pictures'' at PRINT Tuesday' published in The Philippines Herald on 7 July 1969.

The exhibition 'Words and Pictures' opened on 8 July 1969 and featured artworks done after poems by Filipino poets. The participating artists include Lee Aguinaldo, Ray Albano, Pandy Aviado, Bencab, Frey Cabading, Dennis Calma, Roberto Chabet, Danny Dalena, Resty Embuscado, Mars Galang, Ofelia Gelvezon, Lucio Martinez, Frankie Patriarca, Cid Reyes, Alfredo Roces, Boy Rodriguez, Tito Roy, Rudy Samonte, and Efren Zaragoza. Participating poets include Ray Albano, John Araneta, Jolico Cuadra, Aida Cunanan, Larry Francia, Gelacio Guillermo, Nick Joaquin, Emmanuel Lacaba, Jose Lacaba, Voltaire de Leon, Bien Lumbera, Antonio Manuud, Virgie Moreno, Jess Peralta, Cid Reyes, Jun Terra, and Eric Torres.

A lecture was also given on 11 July by David Medalla on 'The Sources and Evolution of Concrete Poetry'.
