Work Presented at That's Not How It Is (Set of 2 Documentations)

Yoli Laudico's installation in the group exhibition, 'Basta Hindi Ganon 'Yon,' (That's Not How It Is) at K-Lahi Gallery Cafe, 19 April - 4 May 1974.

Laudico's work is composed of a fishing net that was hung on the topmost part of the gallery's wall. She then threw wooden twigs and small branches onto the net. Below the net is another work by Laudico, a grid of grease-covered sheets of newspapers which covered the lower portion of the wall.

Other participating artists in the exhibition are Roberto Chabet, Joe Bautista, Fernando Modesto, Rodolfo Gan, and Boy Perez.

The exhibition was a prelude to Shop 6, a group of conceptual artists headed by Roberto Chabet, who led a series of weekly exhibitions in a converted shop in the Sining Kamalig Arcade in Pasay City, Manila, in 1974.
