Portrait of Natasha Kraevskaia

Portrait of Natasha Kraevskaia by Do Phan. Do Phan is a graduate from the Vietnam University of Fine Arts. He specialised in silk paintings in the 1990s, but later gave up his artistic practice and became a writer.

The portrait belongs to a sketchbook which includes a series of impromptu portrait-sketches made by different artists in Vu Dan Tan's studio from 1983 to 1984. It features portraits of regular visitors to the studio, who were often Tan and Natasha Kraevskaia's acquaintances.

Most of the drawings from the sketchbook were produced by artists Dang Duong Bang, Do Phan, Hoang Lap Ngon, Hoang Hong Cam and Phan Thi Thu Ha.
