Artists Do Phan and Vu Dan Tan in Vu Dan Tan’s studio with a foreign friend on the 24th October 1983.
Do Phan, a graduate from Vietnam Fine Arts University, became well-known for his innovative and highly aesthetic silk paintings in the 1990s. A decade later he gave up his artistic career to become a writer.
