A collection of personal photographs captured Zhang’s working and living conditions in different periods: the Sichuan Institute of Fine Arts (1978-1982), environments of studios in Chongqing (1986-1996), Chengdu (1996-1999) and Beijing (1999-now). These photographs also documented Zhang’s meetings with fellow artists, curators and collectors, important events and overseas trips.
