Catalogue of joint exhibition at Tang Contemporary Art in 2006. 2006 (recorded as 2549 in the Thai calendar) holds a memorable year for Thailand as His Majesty Bhumibol Adulyadej enters the 60th year of his accession to the throne. It is also a year marked by political instability caused by perpetual corruption and electoral flaws. For this exhibition, Thai sculptor Watchara Prayoonkum and Chinese artist Yan Lei are invited to create works that reflect a personal interpretation of Thailand’s absoluteness towards the beloved King.
