The present publication was a result of a series of lectures given by Kong Kaiming on anecdotes of the ways of life in Hong Kong, jointly organised by the Hong Kong Tourist Association and the then Baptist College. By incorporating drawings of the landscape, cityscape and historical landmarks of Hong Kong together with his research notes of those specific locations, this monograph provides a useful study of the past history of Hong Kong.
