A documentary on Hong Kong sculpture and installation art from a series on the arts produced by Radio Television Hong Kong in 1995. Sculptors Tong King Sum and Wu Man Wai, and installation artists Kith Tsang Tak Ping, Leung Mee Ping and Wong Shun Kit are interviewed and the work of late sculptor Antonio Mak are featured.
The controversial New Man incident in Hong Kong, in which a nude bronze sculpture regarded as obscene by the authorities was removed from public space and resulted in uproar and protests from the local art community, is mentioned in the programme.
This VCD is a copy of the VHS version and was made with permission of Radio Television Hong Kong. The programme was originally broadcast on television on 5 August 1995.
