Catalogue of solo exhibition by Ahmad Zakii Anwar at Galeri Petronas, Kuala Lumpur in 2008. 'Disclosure' is the first comprehensive study of Zakii's career as an artist over the last two decades. Widely regarded as a major influence on the development of figurative realism within painting in contemporary Malaysian art practice, Zakii has explored a huge range of ideas and style through his work. This exhibition 'Disclosure' brings together over 100 of the artist's works loaned from 36 collectors in both Malaysia and Singapore. The exhibition, which includes various works from the early Still-Life Series to his monumental Charcoals on paper traces the development of his career over the last twenty years as well as the future direction taken by the artist.
