This report is the result of consultative and research travel to South-East Asia and New Zealand. Consultation was carried out in the capacity of employee of the Artists' Regional Exchange Inc. The investigation was specifically to develop further potential for exchanges of visual art culture, through the Artists' Regional Exchange program. The emphasis is on artists, however, it is part of the ARX philisophy that other arts professionals - writers, critics, historians, curators and administrators - are drawn into or included into ARX, in the belief that production, development of new attitudes and discourse is dependant on a whole cultural sector.
